Double glazing windows have been around for years but the latest innovation in this type of glazing is the aluminium double glazing window. With its high R factor, aluminium double glazing window frames and panels are excellent for hot climates. If you live in an area with extremes of heat and cold then these types of materials will help keep the temperature regulated so you can enjoy warm temperatures throughout the year. Aluminium also reduces the build up of pollutants which means you can breathe easier when it comes to your home.

It is very important that your home has the correct insulation and when you use aluminium there are no issues with having too little or too much air. The right type of aluminium for a double glazing window is called DuraSeal. This is combined with specialised Gore sealant. When combined, this produces a leak proof seal which makes it even more energy efficient and seals out moisture too. If you want to take it a step further and are able to afford it then you could opt for triple glazing window panels.

These are very similar to aluminium window panels except they combine aluminium with a second substance which is a gas such as argon or krypton. There are pros and cons to using these types of glazing. The advantage is they are double glazed and have double the amount of insulation which means they are warmer and less likely to need heating or cooling at all. These types of windows can also have better noise reduction because they are sealed so air cannot pass through them like other types of glazing. Another advantage is that the amount of heat is reduced which helps lower your energy bills.

They are very effective and ideal for older buildings because they are rigid and will not warp. They are also incredibly strong, which makes them perfect for window sills and skylights. Double glazing also works best on glass front doors and skylights which already have a high gloss so don't worry about seeing through the door. It's also good to have a high gloss window on a door because they are less likely to be scratched.

This type of glazing is made by many different manufacturers, all of which use aluminium as the main building material. The most common type is framed aluminium but there are also those which come framed from top (intruded) to bottom (intruded within). This type of frame can also have double glazing panels and those panels can be aluminium or steel. It is also possible to choose aluminium single glazing which is the most popular.

Prices can vary depending on what type of glazing you get and the size of the window. Aluminium window frames are cheaper than those made from other materials. The type of glazing also affects how much you will pay for it. Windows made from aluminium are highly durable and can also improve the energy efficiency of a property.
